Where can I find information about my federal student loan(s)?
Federal student loan information is available through the National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS), which is a central database for federal student loans administered by the U.S. Department of Education. NSLDS allows you to access information on federal student loan and/or grant amounts, loan status (including outstanding balances), and the current loan servicer.
If you have private student loan(s), check the promissory note(s) to find contact information for your loan servicer(s). Then you can contact your loan servicer(s) to request loan statements and other information.
